Romans 12 v 9-13
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
At St Neots Evangelical Church we aim to make sure that every church member is cared for and caring for others.
To help us do this we have the following care structure in place

1. We all care for one another.
This is the place where the majority of care takes place within our church family, as church members love, pray for, care and help each other.
In addition we have the following groups/structures in place to further care for one another:
2. Homegroups
These small groups meet weekly, are led by Homegroup leaders, and provide smaller communities for caring for one another, supporting each other practically and praying for each other. We encourage all church members to be part of a Homegroup.
3. Staff
Members of the Staff Team (Pastors and Women’s Worker) help provide additional pastoral care and support in particular areas as needed.
4. Care Team
The Care Team meet regularly to consider any care needs within the church family. The aim is to provide a ‘safety net’ to ensure every member is cared for and caring for others. The team will also help identify any specific care and training needs within the church family.
5. Homegroups
The Church Elders oversee, pray and care for the church family. They have the ultimate oversight and responsibility of Pastoral Care. The Care Team, Homegroups and Staff will keep them updated and included as needed.
As a church we encourage church members to contact the Care Team if they have concerns for either themselves or others.
The Care Team can be contacted at [email protected].
Alternatively, church members can speak to their Homegroup leaders, members of the Staff Team or an Elder.
