Safeguarding

Safeguarding

Safeguarding everyone at our church is a priority for us and we work hard to ensure that we operate in line with current best practice.

Our safeguarding policy sets out how we:

  • Seek to develop an open and transparent culture which provides a healthy and nurturing environment for everyone who engages with our Church community and encourages and supports the raising of concerns, complaints, and allegations.
  • Strive to protect every member of our Church community from harm, and if harm is identified, handle it effectively, promptly, and proportionately.

Our safeguarding team have responsibility for safeguarding across the church and are accountable to the trustees.
