As we get used to running with some restrictions in place, we've decided to just run one session a week for now. We hope to open again on Thursday in the near future and will keep this website updated.
Sessions will run on Mondays, 10am-11am at St. Neots Evangelical Church, Cambridge Street.
You must pre-book your place. Booking is open from 9am on Tuesday to 9am on Thursday. Pre-booking means we can control the numbers for each session as we can only have up to 25 adults come along (with no limit on the number of children). It also means that we can try to give everyone who wants to, a fair chance to come. This means we will not always allocate places on a first come, first served basis. If you are unsuccessful in getting a place we will try and prioritise you for a subsequent week, should you want to book again. Emails will be sent out by Friday to let you know if you have a place for the following Monday or not. If you no longer want your place, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can give it to someone else.
When you arrive at Little Fishes you'll be required to form a socially distanced queue outside the building until we open the doors at 9.55am. This is to avoid crowding in the foyer. There are markers on the ground leading up to the door to help with this. We'll then sign you in, one family group at a time and will ask you to sanitise your hands on your way in.
Each session will cost £1 per family. We'll have a bowl for you to put your money in, and we're sorry but for now, no change will be given.
We currently have a marquee up in our car park and so we’re sorry, but there’s no parking in the church car park at the moment. Please be considerate to our neighbours when finding a place to park.
Face coverings we encourage you to wear a mask during our session, as recommended by the government. There are hand sanitiser dispensers located throughout the building so please do make full use of these. We'll also have sanitation stations with anti-bac wipes so you can wipe down toys before or after your little one uses them if you would like to. All chairs, toilets and touch points will be cleaned before and after every session.
Adults from different households or bubbles are encouraged to socially distance as much as possible. Government guidelines state that children under 5 do not have to socially distance from each other. However, they do need to try and distance themselves from adults who are not from their household or bubble.
We're going to start serving hot drinks to the grown ups again but not yet resume snacks and drinks for the kids. However, you're welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks. We would just ask that if you're eating and drinking, you and your children sit down, and then you sanitise your hands before you go back to playing. Rather than walking around eating and playing simultaneously.
We will still have a craft. It will be in the main room and we'll have a limit on the number of families who can sit at the table to do it at one time. We'll be limiting shared resources for this as much as possible. We will also have our Bible story and singing time in the main room as one big group. It's lovely that we can do this together and we can now have adults wearing face coverings join the children with singing.
Please be aware that the building may be cooler than normal due to needing to open windows to adhere to good ventilation guidelines.
Please do not visit if you have symptoms of Coronavirus including a high temperature, persistent new cough and/or loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste.
By signing up you'll be agreeing to attend the sessions at your own risk. Even though we are a covid-19 secure venue, this does not guarantee that we are covid free.
If we have your email address, check your inbox for an invite to apply for a place each week.
