Apologies for keeping forgetting to post updates! Here are some items for prayer:
- Give thanks and pray for Lois, Peter and Alphonce who are all joining the church, the latter two by baptism as recent converts.
- There is a new youth Bible study and football game on Tuesdays
- Also a new Bible study has begun at Wence and Charles' place of work.
- The new term at the Bible college has begun; I am teaching 1 John and Exodus.
- We could do with another helper for the Pioneer children's club as we aim to train up the workers and hand it over to them.
Many thanks,
David

Update from the Andersons in Eldoret |

We arrived back in Eldoret at the end of January, and have not yet felt like we have settled in - mostly due to bad health. One in hospital on a drip with blood poisoning, another with pneumonia - not the gentle settling in we were hoping for.
But all seem to be responding well. Liz is taking the monthly ladies' meeting today and David hopes to preach on Sunday, carrying on in Mark. We now have a church website online at http://www.graceeldoret.org. The magazine which I'm editing for pastors, students and other leaders is also freely available online at http://www.rebmik.org.
Regular ministries to pray for are - monthly men's meeting this coming Saturday, David teaching Galatians and John at Bible college on Thursday. |

We're presently in the UK - and enjoying some rest and seeing old and new friends. We are grateful for those who have loved us in Jesus' name. When someone makes a hot meal that saves some cooking it can't be because of what we're doing in return - we're not doing anything over here; it must be for Jesus' sake. We have a couple more meetings this week, but these aren't tiring at all: showing photos and chatting about them is not very taxing!
Please do pray for Naphtally ministering in Eldoret as the sole church elder during these weeks. The church is young and immature and pastoral duties are many! Pray that God will give him strength and wisdom and enable the members to be faithful. |
