My name is Richard and I have the privilege of being the youthworker at St. Neots Evangelical Chuch. That means I get to have loads of fun spend time teaching the bible to young people both inside and outside the church!

I was born and bred in Derbyshire, living in Chesterfield until the age of 18 when I went to university in London. After spending time working as a UCCF relay worker I married Sally in 2003 and moved to Lincoln where I worked in a Christian bookshop before coming to St. Neots on a 1 year apprenticeship. We've I've been here ever since, and during our time here have added two daughters to our family, Libby and Susie.

Though I'd been taken to church all my life, I only became a Christian somewhere between the ages of 17 and 18 when, over a period of time, what I had heard in church all my life just started to make sense and become real to me. It was a real work of God as nothing else in my life had changed particularly, but one I've very thankful for. And in his grace, God has helped me to grow more like Jesus ever since!

Outside of my family and the lovely young people here, because I'm very cool I'm into steam locomotives, both real and model and I also endure the trials that supporting Blackburn Rovers brings with it.
